CODEX's story began in Biel in 2009 and was brought to life by the work of enthusiastic men. The brand is distinguished by the recognizable style of its mechanical watches, and by their unique design and irreproachable quality. X is the brand's symbol, referring to the X chromosome that exists in all of us as the very essence of our identity. Omnipresent, it is also the determining element of our timepieces; the DNA of the brand. CODEX thus creates an extraordinary fusion between the watch and the person wearing it, providing a unique way of expressing one's personality.

Given its strategic location from both a geographical as well as a historical perspective, we have decided to establish the headquarters of CODEX in Biel. Biel and its region are renowned for the watchmaking industry and offer highly qualified workers and suppliers who are ideal for the development of our brand.

From design to realization, the attention to detail and finishing has always been our priority. We have selected high-quality materials and taken great care of technical aspects throughout the development process, all the while keeping a close eye on aesthetics.

Our passion for watchmaking demands nothing but the best: all our watches are equipped with Swiss Made mechanical movements that can be admired, along with their finishing, through a transparent sapphire glass at the back.

All our models carry the Swiss Made label, a gauge of quality that is recognized throughout the world, and are manufactured with care in the heart of the Jura mountains by master watch-makers in accordance with Swiss watchmaking expertise. To ensure a product of irreproachable execution, each watch is subject to rigorous technical controls and must satisfy with very high quality standards before it is marketed.
